Messages and notifications

Direct messages between members, the notification bell, and push notifications.

Direct messages

/messages — private conversations with other members of the site. Start one from a member's profile or from the New message button, and reply in the thread. Unread threads are counted in the header.

Notifications

The bell in the header opens /notifications: things that happened to you or your org — a task assigned, an order placed, a ticket answered, a booking made, an agent finishing a job. Each notification links to the thing it is about. Mark them read one at a time or all at once.

Push notifications

When your browser asks whether KreaStack may send notifications, allowing it means the bell's notifications also arrive on your device while the site is closed. You can withdraw the permission in the browser at any time.

Email copies

Some notifications are also emailed (ticket replies, order confirmations, verification codes). Those go to your default email address; see Your profile.
