Running an affiliate programme
Installing a programme on your site, commission settings and tiers, product-level values, payout periods and paying affiliates.
/programmes — the programme manager for the sites you own.
Install
Choose the site and Install affiliate programme. Registration on that site starts tracking referrals, every member gets a referral link, and the affiliate dashboard appears in their menu.
Commission settings
- Bulk percentage — one rate across the store.
- Tier rates — different rates for first-level referrals and the levels below (a multi-level programme).
- Product values — a fixed commission or rate per product that overrides the bulk rate.
Payout periods
/payouts — commissions accumulate into the current period; the engine closes periods on the schedule you set (weekly, monthly). Review a closed period, approve it, and pay it: approved amounts are credited to each affiliate's commission account, from which they withdraw.
Referral rules
A referral is attributed at registration to the link the person arrived through, and stays attributed. Refunded orders reverse the commission they earned.
