Digital products and licences
Selling files and software — deliverables, secure download links, licence keys and validation, subscriptions, and what a refund revokes.
Deliverables
On a product's Delivery tab, upload the files a buyer receives — as many as you like, in order, with one marked primary. Files are stored privately and never have a public address.
What the buyer gets
At payment the buyer receives one download link per file, by email and on their purchases page (/purchases). Links are limited by count and expiry; a reminder goes out before they expire. Downloads are streamed through the site so the check happens on every click.
Licence keys
A product can issue a licence key per purchase. Keys can be bound to a machine, carry features and an expiry, and be validated by your software through the site's licence API; every validation is logged. /licenses lists issued keys.
Subscriptions
A subscription product renews on its period; a lapsed subscription revokes access to what it granted (a membership, a credit allowance).
Refunds and disputes
A refund revokes the order's download links and licence keys. A chargeback suspends them until resolved. See Orders and customers.
Made with the creator
Products built by the Product Creator arrive here with their files already attached.
Buyer's list
A product can add its buyer to a newsletter list at purchase, so customers can be followed up. See Prospects and lists.
