Prospects, subscribers and lists
The people pages — prospects, the subscribers of a sequence, lists and their segment rules, and importing from CSV.
Prospects
/prospects — everyone known to the site who has not (yet) registered: name, email, source, when first seen, their leads and the lists they are on. A prospect who registers becomes a member and their history comes with them.
Subscribers
/subscribers — enrolments in email sequences: who is in which sequence, which step they have reached, when the next email is due, and their state (pending confirmation, active, paused, unsubscribed). This is the sequence view of a person; the prospects page is the address-book view.
Lists
/lists — named audiences for mailings and newsletters. A list has:
- a default script for its confirmation email;
- double opt-in on or off;
- segment rules — conditions on engagement date, consent date, source or any custom field, so one big list can be mailed as several audiences without copying people.
Importing people
Newsletters → Import CSV takes a file of addresses (with optional first and last name) onto a list. Imported people start as pending until they confirm, unless you assert you already hold consent.
Storefront customers
A buyer becomes a member and, if the product says so, is added to a list at purchase. See Orders and customers.
