Managing agents

Creating and editing an agent — persona, model, tools, knowledge, output length — plus sessions and the admin view.

/agents is the manager. Tabs: Agents, Templates, Channels, Sessions.

Creating or editing an agent

  • Name and persona — who the agent is and how it behaves, in plain words. The persona is the first thing the model reads on every turn.
  • Model — which AI model answers. Larger models reason better and cost more per token; the rate card is on the credits page.
  • Tools — tick what the agent may do. An agent without a tool cannot do that thing and will say so rather than pretend. See What agents can do.
  • Knowledge — reference text the agent should always have (your brand voice, your policies, a price list). It is placed in front of the model on every turn, so keep it to what matters. Can be switched off per agent.
  • Output length — the maximum size of a reply. Builders need a large limit because their tool calls carry whole pages.
  • Temperature — how varied the wording is; leave it unless you know why.

Sessions

Every conversation is a session, with its channel (web, Telegram, task), its messages and the tools used. Open one to read it; delete it to forget it.

Rate limit

Each session accepts a fixed number of messages per hour so a runaway loop cannot drain a balance.

Shared and personal agents

An agent created by a site admin with no owner is shared — every member can talk to it. Agents you create are yours and your org's.
