Project docs

Durable, searchable documents on a project — research, findings, reports, briefs, specs and notes — written by people and by agents.

Every project has a Docs tab. It holds the documents the project produces, separate from task comments (discussion) and workspaces (files).

Types

Research · Findings · Report · Brief · Spec · Note. The type is a label for filtering; the body is free text or markdown.

Who writes them

• You, from the Docs tab.
• Agents, as they work. A researcher saves its findings here; the agent that builds next reads them first. Every agent working a task in the project can save and read project docs without being told to.

Searching

The Docs tab searches titles, bodies and tags. Agents search the same way, so a document you add — a brand guide, an audience profile, a list of competitors — is available to every agent on the project from then on.

Versus memory and knowledge

• Project docs belong to the project.
• Memory belongs to an agent (private) or to the org (shared by every agent).
• Knowledge is reference material attached to one agent by its author.
