Signing in and resetting your password

How to sign in, what to do when you cannot, and how to reset a forgotten password.

Sign in

Go to /login and enter the email address and password you registered with. If the site offers Sign in with Google, you can use the Google account whose address matches your registered email.

Signing in takes you to your dashboard, or to the page you were trying to reach.

I cannot sign in

• Wrong password — use the reset link below.
• Account not yet verified — you registered but never entered the emailed code. Go to /login, sign in, and you are returned to the verification page where you can resend the code.
• Email not recognised — check for typos, and check whether you registered with a different address. You can hold several addresses on one account; see Your profile.

Reset a forgotten password

1. Open /resetpass and enter your registered email address.
2. Follow the link in the email you receive.
3. Answer your security question if you set one, then choose a new password.

If the email does not arrive within a few minutes, check the spam folder, then try again with any other address on your account.

Sign out

/logout ends your session on this device. Sessions also end on their own after a period of inactivity.
