Setting up email on your domain — DKIM, DNS health, mailboxes and inbound delivery.

/mailservice — one entry per domain that sends or receives mail.

Setting up a domain for mail

1. Add the domain. The platform generates its DKIM keys.
2. Set the DNS records the page lists: MX (to receive), SPF and DKIM (to be trusted), DMARC.
3. DNS health on the page checks each record and tells you what is still missing.

Once healthy, every email the site sends for you — confirmations, newsletters, sequences, replies from the email client — goes out signed as your domain.

Mailboxes

Create mailboxes on the domain: an address and a password each. They appear in /mailboxes and in the email client, and can be read from any IMAP mail app. See Email and mailboxes.

Inbound

Mail arriving at a mailbox is delivered into the platform. An inbound webhook can hand each incoming message to a flow — to raise a ticket, to answer with an agent, to file it.

Bounces and complaints

Hard bounces and complaints suppress the address automatically so it is not mailed again; soft bounces are tolerated a few times first. See the deliverability view in Newsletters.
